Santa Monica International Teen Film Festival

The Santa Monica Teen Film Festival is an interdepartmental initiative between the Santa Monica Cultural Affairs Division, The Santa Monica Public Library, The Virginia Avenue Park Teen Center and City TV. Its purpose is to provide an outlet for and to showcase the creative talents of teen filmmakers and to encourage youth to use the art of filmmaking as a form of creative expression and commentary on the world in which they live.

Entrance is FREE! Any film, any genre between 1-30 mins.
To enter you must be between 12-19 years old born between June 1997-2004

Prizes include a public screening, gift certificates & trophies. Best Local Film will win the coveted “Santa Monica Budding Filmmaker Award”. Best overall film will receive a FULL SCHOLARSHIP to the Relativity Workshops. A 3 week filmmaking intensive in Los Angeles provided by the Relativity School of Film, Media and the Performing Arts. (Value $3,500!)
