Quindici19 is entirely organized by a group of young students. It is meant to encourage the artistic and expressive form of the short film, giving visibility to young aspiring directors. We are supported by several organizations and institutions : Ministero dell’Istruzione dell’Università e della Ricerca, ScuolaZoo, Giffoni Experience 2016, Accademia del Lusso – Roma, Fano International Film Festival, Capalbio Cinema International Film Festival, Roma Web Fest, The Flux Film Festival, Cinecittà Shows Off.

Awards & Prizes

All the ten finalists will compete to receive:

A Jury Award, assigned only to ONE short film. The director of the short film will:
1) Attend a 50 hours workshop at Accademia del Lusso in Rome
2) Be part of the jury of Giffoni Experience 2016
3) See his/her short screened during the exhibition Cinecittà Shows Off

A Fano International Film Festival Award, assigned only to ONE short film. The short film will be screened during the next edition of Fano International Film Festival

Moreover, all ten finalists will receive a set of school diaries given by our partner ScuolaZoo and free tickets for a tour of Cinecittà Shows Off, at Cinecittà Studios.

Rules & Terms

To participate you only need to be student of a secondary school. Short films can be of any variety (animation, documentaries, music clips, etc), with a max duration of 7 minutes (including opening and closing credits).
Subscription is free and every author can appear in as many short films she/he wants, but can send JUST ONE in his name.
All non-italian shorts must be english subtitled.
All shorts participating to Quindici19 will be automatically competitors in The Flux Film Festival of Beijing
Subscription must be filled on our website www.quindici19.com in all its forms until April the 11th 2016
Short films must be uploaded on our website until April the 11th 2016
The list of ten works selected for the final will be published on April the 15th 2016
The winners will be announced and awarded during the closing ceremony on May the 7th 2016 at the theatre Sala Umberto in Rome
